This is a sketch of Morimura Tenma from the Harukanaru Toki no Naka de series that sorta came out of no where. I was sketching a pic of Ichigo and it just hit me that I had to watch some older eps of Haruka... so I put on eps 11 of the Hachiyoushou TV series (the one with the best Tenma moment in it) and had to draw his eyes. There's a scene in that episode where you get a huge close up of his eyes, so I just paused the DVD and tried to sketch them; ended up sketching his entire face. And I had to add some blood somewhere..... hehheh

This first color job was done in Photoshop. I keep reverting back to using dark tones (ex. the shadows in this pic) and such... The original version without the shadows is much brighter and you can see more detail in his hair, but... I like the darker feel to it. I'm currently recoloring this in COMICART CG illust 4 Plus so hopefully I can get that uploaded sometime, too. The only problem with that is... I don't know the program well, it's in Japanese, and I'm using a new tablet to color/draw with... so it's going to take some time and experimentation to get used to everything.

I do that a lot of time with my art, haha. Someone will comment on something reaaally old, and I'll be like "...I drew this? When?" I wish I could do digital coloring, but I just don't have the right programs, haha.

Oh god yeah, I'm EVIL!!! I actually got around to writing a little bit more of my story the other day, and I'm nearing the end of a major arc... and looking back at the story so far... I just realized what a complete punching bag of a main character I created. lol I mean, he's gotta be dang strong to live through all the crap I put him through...so... He's going to hate me by the time I'm finished with him. lol

Oh, that's nothing. I killed off my two main characters' parents (not only that, but they were murdered right in front of them), had pushed one off a cliff by her cousin then strung her up on a cross a few years later, and I let the other one get physically/mentally abused by his older brother! :D I haven't even gotten to the fight scenes yet!

Really? I had my main chara's mother get slaughtered in front of him. Actually, he came home just a little too late. ^^; Then there's a huge fight scene between the killer and the main dude. lol END BOOK 1. haha
